For the third and final part of my project, I created an ad for an organization. I used the same organization from earlier, Corey’s Baseball Shop. In this advertisement I am trying to promote a free baseball clinic for all ages. My goal is to attract as my young athletes to the camp. This is my most creative design. On the top of the ad I included in bold text the name of my organization. Below that I included what I was trying to sell. In the clinic, we plan to give away free items. I used a couple of pictures in the ad and used Photoshop to edit them. In the bottom left picture, I cropped out just the hitter and feathered the surroundings to give the picture a nice fade look. With the picture on the right, I place a picture of a baseball field in the frame. Then on top of that I placed a picture of someone hitting on top of the field. The player really blends in with the rest of the picture.
CD Cover
For the second part of my project I designed a CD cover. I designed both the front and back of the case. I titled my album Walk with Me. On the front of the cover I put a nice gravel road going in the distance. I figured this would go well with the theme. The theme of my album is Take me home with you.” This is one of the songs that are in the CD. I am the fictional artist of the album and created all eleven of the songs. On the back of the cover I included the songs and times in a creative box. I really want the viewer to see this the most. On the top right corner of the case I put the company’s logo that created the album. On the bottom of the case are the copyright and a barcode. I really believe the designs of my album will catch the attention of the buyers.
Business Flyer
In my first assignment I designed a business flyer. In this flyer I am promoting my own business, Corey’s Baseball Shop. This shop holds any type of baseball equipment you can think of. I really hope I am able to get a lot of people to check out my new corporation. In the design I used some creative text, borders, and pictures. I put the name of my company on the top left of the page. I believe the font will catch they buyer’s attention because of it being bold. I also included a limited time offer of 50% off all equipment. This should really attract people to shop at my store. I also included Chipper Jones in the flyer stating that he uses our products. This will force buyers to buy our products because he uses them. My text is big enough and easy to read. On the page I clearly stated what I was trying to sell and who I was trying to sell them to. This design should be appealing for the viewers to buy my products.
